Ingrid Morrema

After working for various law firms including her own, Ingrid joined Axon as a senior lawyer since February 2021. As an attorney as well as in-house counsel at some academic hospitals and institutions she gained a broad experience in the life sciences and healthcare sector. She loves advising on various related topics such as research collaborations, medical product development, contracting and IP, e-health, governance, dealing with GDPR requirements and specific legal and ethical health law issues.

As a mediator Ingrid is passionate about finding practical and widely supported solutions. However, if necessary she happily puts on her toga to represent her clients’ interests. She regularly conducts legal proceedings before courts, disciplinary committees and scientific integrity committees including the Netherlands Board on Research Integrity (LOWI).

Ingrid is a no nonsense, driven and enthusiastic attorney, with a passion for healthcare and science and taking good care of her clients.
